Add the local connector to Cursor via .cursor/mcp.json

Cursor reads MCP configuration from .cursor/mcp.json in your project root (or ~/.cursor/mcp.json globally). Create or edit that file with the block below.

Tips

Create .cursor/mcp.json in the root of your project (not your home directory).
Reload the Cursor window after saving the file for the server to appear.
You can scope the MCP server to specific projects by placing the file in different project roots.
