Codex CLI

Add the local connector to OpenAI Codex CLI via config.toml

Codex CLI reads MCP servers from ~/.codex/config.toml. Add the block below and start a new Codex session — the ai.to.design tools are then available to the agent.

Configuration

[mcp_servers.ai-to-design]
command = "npx"
args = ["-y", "@ai.to.design/figma-connector@latest"]

Tips

  • The table name after mcp_servers. is the server name Codex shows in its tool list.
  • Node.js 18 or later must be installed on your machine.
